Global academic partnerships

ACCA works with a number of partners to ensure global delivery of learning and development expertise - such as tuition materials. It also increasingly works with leading universities around the world to develop and offer further qualifications, helping students and members to specialise in particular fields, or broaden their strategic skills.

The partnership with Oxford Brookes University (OBU) - regularly rated as the best 'new' university in the UK - now boasts the world's largest undergraduate programme in accounting through the BSc in Applied Accounting offered to ACCA students on completion of part of the ACCA Professional Scheme and a relevant project. And the two organisations collaborate on a unique MBA for professional accountants, supported online.

Working with the Said Business School at the University of Oxford, ACCA offers the Diploma in Financial Strategy, a Masters-level course that provides the essential elements of an MBA for qualified accountants. A distance-learning qualification is also available from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), part of the University of London: the Postgraduate Diploma in Public Financial Management. ACCA and Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University have signed a joint agreement to enable ACCA members to gain a MSc in Financial Management through distance learning. A partnership agreement with the Centre for Leadership Studies at the University of Exeter enables members to gain an MA in Leadership through modular distance learning.
