New self-check modules

Testing your students' basic skills

08 Jul 2010

Do you require help in assessing whether students enrolling on your courses have the basic English and maths ability to begin their ACCA studies? Or do you have students who lack the skills in English and maths needed to succeed?

ACCA has launched new self-check modules for students that can provide them with instant feedback on their levels of ability in maths and English - the language in which ACCA's exams are assessed. The modules are optional to complete, free of charge, and anonymous - these won't appear on your students' records and only they will know the results and feedback.

The modules could be exactly what your students - and you - need to provide the confidence and reassurance that they have the required skills to begin studying ACCA. And if they don't, there are e-learning modules available (also free of charge) to help them improve their maths skills, as well as links to learning materials offered by other providers to help enhance their English language skills.

Benefits to you

Why not feature the modules as part of your induction process to ensure your students have the right levels of ability in maths and English to cope with their studies, allowing you to safeguard your pass rates?
