Students sharpen exam skills during pilot webcast

ACCA recently held its first live webinar on examination skills for paper F7 – financial reporting for a pan European audience.

This pilot project was designed in conjunction with European national offices to provide some positive intervention to students to help them increase their chances to pass

Historically this core paper has proved to be one of the most challenging papers for students, and with the increasing importance of International Financial Reporting Standards in today’s economy it remains a priority.

By holding an online tutorial such as this, ACCA is able to maximize the support it provides to its students across Europe. ACCA is now considering options to provide support to other stakeholders, including members and employers. ACCA Ireland has already held a number of CPD sessions for members via WebEx, including a session on ‘trading difficulties’ for business leaders and ‘IFRS in a hurry’ is also in the pipeline.

You can access the webcast on paper F7 here. View ‘trading difficulties’ here.
