ACCA US Annual General Meeting
ACCA US Annual General Meeting to take place at Le Merigot, Santa Monica, CA on Saturday, April 26.
In keeping with this year's theme, "Global standards: the business benefits." ACCA US has invited an outstanding keynote speaker for this event: Woodrow D. Anderson, a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and an expert on IFRS.
Woodrow has been with PwC for over 13 years. Prior to coming to Los Angeles, he served on an international assignment where he assisted companies in Switzerland and Germany in achieving their initial listing on the New York Stock Exchange, including application of IFRS, reconciliation to US GAAP, and working through challenging registration matters with the US Securities & Exchange Commission. He serves SEC listed multi-national manufacturing companies based in California and US subsidiaries of foreign companies who report under IFRS. He is a member of PwC's IFRS Assurance Strategy Committee and the Pharmaceuticals Sector Champion for IFRS work in the US.
He is passionate about IFRS and believes that ACCA's support in driving high-quality use of IFRS is critical to its success and is looking forward to addressing the AGM this year.
