Surveying nearly 3,500 ACCA members, with participants drawn from 116 countries, the research report “Paths to the top – best practice leadership development for finance professionals” confirms that finance leaders around the world are now expected to demonstrate higher levels of accountability and control than ever before, together with delivering financial value.

 Emerging from extensive research with the ACCA membership, this report highlights the current state of talent management in the profession and is a useful tool for initial benchmarking or simply as a source for current best practice. Published 2006
- The Finance Professional 2020
 The finance professional in 2020 will be faced with a number of challenges and opportunities shaped by the forces of enhanced globalisation, changing demographics and significantly increased business complexity. In this survey conducted by ACCA, finance professionals predict that the BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) countries will have established themselves as significant economic powers and this will shift the balance of economic power eastwards particularly as those economies move from competing on cost to knowledge and innovation.
