Each subject library is a repository of ACCA's published works. ACCA seeks to make a strong and distinctive contribution to public debate on all relevant issues concerning the conduct of accountancy and business and, in particular, on technical aspects of the work of professional accountants in business, public practice and the public sector. As part of this contribution, ACCA produces many articles, factsheets, newsletters, opinion papers, policy papers, and research reports.

The theme of audit and society is one of ACCA's priority areas under its Accountancy Futures programme.
