• ACCA Canada greatly expanded the coordination of CPD events, with events being held in various locations across the country.
• Local chapters remain active, with the majority of activity taking place in Vancouver (British Columbia), Calgary (Alberta) and Toronto (Ontario). In total, over 1,500 members attended regular CPD events, a figure ACCA Canada aims to exceed in 2008.
• The relationship with Seneca College, the largest accounting school in Canada, expanded in 2007. Its certificate programme has now been approved by ACCA and the school is currently seeking to have its graduate programme approved. In addition, Seneca is embarking on discussions with ACCA to become a tuition provider for ACCA students outside of Canada.
