Training support
- Tuition Provider Meetings were held with held with 21 registered colleges, 13 unregistered colleges and 10 prospective colleges across the region.
- A series of Train the Trainer Events were held; Lucy Taylor, ACCA development manager - learning partnerships, and representatives from BPP and FTC Kaplan, facilitated these events in Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago. The events were well attended by the lecturers at all the existing colleges - 50 in Trinidad and 35 in Jamaica. Student meetings were held during the week of events with 400 students attending in Trinidad and 500 in Jamaica.
- Two new institutions in Trinidad were accredited under the UCRS scheme and one in the Cayman Islands.
- Twelve meetings were held with the joint scheme partners in Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica and Trinidad.
- ACCA Caribbean has been invited to partner with the Small Business Development Company Ltd to support delivery of training programmes with SMEs in 2008.
