- ACCA Czech Republic organised a professionalism and ethics seminar in Prague in September. Dr Moyra Kedslie was the ACCA keynote speaker; other speakers were Vladimir Hokr, partner, BDO, and Mike Al-Nassir, partner, Pedersen & Partners.
- Roger Acton, ACCA director of Europe, was invited to speak at the Hungarian Chamber of Auditors.
- The presidents of the Slovak Chamber of Auditors and Slovak Chamber of Certified Accountants attended the ACCA Christmas party.
