- ACCA Careers 2007 - a careers fair for ACCA members and affiliates - attracted more than 1,500 jobseekers. Held in July, the fair gave ACCA members and students the opportunity to explore exciting career prospects and interact with prominent employers in Malaysia. Over 30 employers from various sectors participated in this year’s event, compared to 19 the previous year.
- As part of ACCA Members’ Dialogue 2007, 16 dialogue sessions were organised throughout the country and a total of 1,300 members were able to acquire insights and updates on various issues involving ACCA development and growth in Malaysia, as well as the progress of the accounting profession. ACCA extended member engagement to Brunei with a dialogue which involved more than 30 members. Members were pleased with the support offered, and look forward to more services and activities working with the local body, BICPA.
