Reputation and influence

As part of ongoing cooperation with the Association of Accountants in Poland, a renewal of an agreement between two organisations was signed.
In December 2006, a consortium comprising ACCA, IMCL and BPP won a World Bank project on auditing reform in Poland. As a result, from January to July 2007 ACCA worked with the Ministry of Finance in Poland and the main regulator, KIBR (The Polish Chamber of Statutory Auditors).
Rzeczpospolita (the Polish daily financial newspaper, equivalent to the FT) published the fourth edition of a special supplement on financial management which focused on the ACCA Qualification, and which had a Polish distribution of over 200,000 copies.
The ACCA, Ernst & Young and Warsaw School of Economy programme was launched.
ACCA developed a closer alliance with the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Members' achievements:

Following elections to the Members' Executive Committee in Poland, there are now 12 members in the Committee team.
