Reputation and influence
- As part of ongoing cooperation with the Association of Accountants in Poland, a renewal of an agreement between two organisations was signed.
- In December 2006, a consortium comprising ACCA, IMCL and BPP won a World Bank project on auditing reform in Poland. As a result, from January to July 2007 ACCA worked with the Ministry of Finance in Poland and the main regulator, KIBR (The Polish Chamber of Statutory Auditors).
- Rzeczpospolita (the Polish daily financial newspaper, equivalent to the FT) published the fourth edition of a special supplement on financial management which focused on the ACCA Qualification, and which had a Polish distribution of over 200,000 copies.
- The ACCA, Ernst & Young and Warsaw School of Economy programme was launched.
- ACCA developed a closer alliance with the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
Members' achievements:
- Following elections to the Members' Executive Committee in Poland, there are now 12 members in the Committee team.
