- The ACCA Ukraine professionalism and ethics event, on the 'Ethics of professional accountants: experience, reality, prospects', was held in May. Attending the event were: Sundeep Takwani, ACCA head of ethics and assurance; Sergii Golov, UFPAA president; Svitlana Stolyarova, chairperson, Chamber of Auditors of Ukraine; Тom Cradock-Watson, partner, Ernst & Young Ukraine; Federico Diomeda, president of EFAA (European Federation of Accountants and Auditors for SMEs); Brigitte Guillebert, director of quality control and doctrine, also member of management, at the French Institute of Statutory Auditors (CNCC); Marina Revazishvili, Georgian Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors (GFPAA).
- At the professionalism and ethics event held in Georgia in July, Revaz Dzadzamia, president of GFPAA, and Lavrenti Chumburidze, executive director of GFPAA attended.
- At the professionalism and ethics event held in Azerbaijan in June, Prof Mirdamet Mirsadiq ogly Sadiqov, Azerbaijan State Economic University, deputy rector on International Relations, and Prof Dr Vahid Tapdig Novruzov, chairman of the Chamber of Auditors of Azerbaijan were present.
