ACCA was delighted to welcome Konkola Copper Mines plc (KCM) as a new Approved Employer - Professional Development and Trainee Development - Gold. KCM is the largest mining and metals company in Zambia, and employs more than 30 ACCA members and students in various departments. Speaking at the Award presentation ceremony, KCM vice president said that attaining the ACCA Approved Employer status is a clear demonstration of KCM’s commitment to human resource development. ACCA Zambia will also collaborate closely on undertaking needs assessments for finance professionals and ACCA members and students to ensure that the training and development support being provided continues to meet international standards.
