Pensions legislation
The principal current source of primary legislation on pensions is the Pensions Act 1995.
The 1995 Act has been supplemented by the Pensions Act 2004, which makes substantial additions and amendments to it. You can download the Pensions Act 2004 from the OPSI website.
The EU has enacted a new Directive on occupational pensions, namely Directive 2003/41/EC on Activities and Supervision of institutions for occupational retirement pensions.
