Transfer to membership

Ready to qualify as an ACCA member?

You can transfer to ACCA membership as soon as you have:

  • completed your exams
  • completed the Professional Ethics module (where required)
  • recorded 36 months' in a relevant role via the PER return
  • answered the challenge questions for 13 performance objectives (all nine essentials and any four from options) and had these signed off by your workplace mentor.

If you have been updating your PER in the trainee development matrix (TDM), we will know when you are ready for membership. We will then email or write to invite you to transfer, therefore please keep your email and postal contact details up-to-date so that we can get in touch without delay.

Can’t wait?
If you think that you are ready now, you can still apply for membership by downloading and submitting the application form in the related documents section on this page - you do not have to wait to receive your invitation from ACCA.
